Warehouse Operative / Production Supervisor – Sustainable Pet Care Business

JM&Co. Recruitment is proud to be the sole recruitment partner for a well-established, independent producer of natural pet feed and bedding.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Production Supervisor to join their team, working across both the warehouse and production environments.

  • Location: Rural setting – own transport essential
  • Wage: From c. £14.00 per hour, with flexibility up to c. £20.00 p/h for candidates with relevant supervisory and Health & Safety experience. 
  • Annual Salary: Up to £37,440 per annum (DOE - based on £20 p/h)
  • Hours: Monday–Thursday, 36 hours per week

Warehouse Operative / Production Supervisor – Key Responsibilities

  • Working within a mechanised production environment using natural materials
  • Operating and monitoring machinery, identifying changes in performance or behaviour
  • Packing, palletising, wrapping, and preparing goods for distribution
  • Loading and unloading vehicles and moving stock using a forklift
  • Supporting production planning and day-to-day warehouse organisation
  • Taking ownership of Health & Safety standards and best working practices
  • Assisting with machinery checks and maintenance, with training provided where required

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Warehouse or factory experience
  • Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Forklift (Counterbalance) licence is essential
  • Strong common sense, awareness, and a calm, practical approach
  • Health & Safety awareness and or training experience would be highly beneficial
  • Warehouse supervision, planning, or team leadership experience would be an advantage
