Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire (Office-based)
Salary: £25,500 - £26,500 per annum DOE
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-time (40 hours per week)

 

About the Role

 

Our client, a well-established organisation within the home services sector, is seeking a proactive and organised Customer Service Administrator to provide first-class administrative support across its UK network. Key Responsibilities for the Customer Service Administrator role:

  • Accurately log and track sales turnover and match customer contracts to goods orders.
  • Approve orders, resolve queries, make amendments, and liaise with suppliers for quotations.
  • Process daily orders promptly upon receipt of payment, issue purchase orders, and provide estimated delivery dates and dispatch confirmations.
  • Maintain credit control processes, ensuring goods orders are processed within agreed timescales.
  • Report and log any damaged or missing items and manage completion certificate receipts.
  • Handle general telephone queries and customer complaints in a calm and professional manner.
  • Coordinate the ordering of flowers and gifts for the network as needed.
  • Assist with sending agreements and arranging conference facilities for training and meetings.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.

Customer Service Administrator - Candidate Profile:

 

Essential:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency with the full Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Calm, polite, and professional telephone manner.

Desirable:

  • Basic financial administration experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
